Ocean Model School provides a broad and balanced curriculum. With stimulating activity-based learning, we prepare students academically, socially, and culturally. We also foster the skills and character they need to thrive in their future endeavors.
Foundational Stage: Activity-Based Learning & Character Building
At Ocean Model School, our Foundational Stage (Pre-Primary and Classes 1 & 2) is where the love for learning sparks! Our approach is rooted in activity-based and joyful learning—exactly how young children thrive: by exploring, playing, and doing. In this supportive environment, we focus intensely on foundational skills and holistic character building, cultivating the confidence, self-esteem, and independence essential for all future academic success, in line with NEP 2020 principles.
Preparatory Stage: Experiential and Integrated Learning
The Preparatory Stage (Classes 3 & 4) smoothly guides students toward a more formal curriculum while maintaining high engagement. We champion experiential learning through interactive discovery, discussion, and collaborative projects, aligning with the spirit of NEP 2020. Instruction is deeply integrated across all key areas—including Languages, Math, and The World Around Us (Science and Social Studies)—to provide a truly holistic understanding. This approach encourages critical thinking, fosters natural curiosity, and builds the confidence required for the challenges ahead.
Middle and Secondary Stages: Future-Ready Curriculum
The Middle and Secondary Stages (Classes 5 to 10) are specifically designed for academic rigor, guided specialization, and future career readiness. The curriculum transitions students from foundational learning to deep, subject-specific expertise. We emphasize critical thinking, analysis, and sophisticated problem-solving through dedicated subjects and interdisciplinary projects. This final school stage focuses on fostering independent inquiry and developing the advanced skills required for Board Examinations and beyond. This program is currently under development and is scheduled to be launched in the upcoming academic year.
